GroceryShare is simple. No complicated setup and no cost. Just a way to save money, reduce waste and make community connections
1. Join
Sign up with a nickname, your town, and the primary county you shop. Your real name and email are private and never shared.
2. Search or Post a Share
Browse sharing opportunities in your area or create your own. Looking to split a bulk bag of rice or a family-sized block of cheese? Post it and find a neighbor who wants in.
3. Connect
Click “View & Contact” on any share to open the post and leave a private comment. The member will respond and you can work out the details together.
4. Meet Up
Coordinate your exchange in a public place — near the store entrance or in the parking lot. Always tell someone where you’re going. Please read the Safety Guidelines.
5. Split the Cost
Pay your share at the time you divide the groceries. GroceryShare does not charge transaction fees. Members may use cash or a trusted payment app such as PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle between each other.
