GroceryShare is simple. No complicated setup, no confusing steps, no cost. Just neighbors helping neighbors save money and reduce waste.
1. Join
Sign up with a nickname, your town, and your favorite stores. That’s it—no real name required. Your email is private and never shared.
2. Search or Post
Browse sharing opportunities in your area or create your own. Looking to split a bulk bag of rice or a family-sized block of cheese? Post it and find a neighbor who wants in.
3. Match
GroceryShare suggests compatible matches based on what you want to split and where you shop.
4. Chat and Confirm
Connect with your match through private in-app messaging. Agree on the details — what to buy, where, and when.
5. Split the Cost
Pay your share at the time you divide the groceries. GroceryShare does not charge transaction fees. Members may use cash or a trusted payment app such as PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle.
6. Meet Up
Coordinate your exchange in a public place — near the store entrance or in the parking lot. Always tell someone where you’re going. Please read the Safety Guidelines.
